This game requires a decent internet connection and is fairly data intensive, so while WiFi is not required, it is recommended. Due to the complex nature of the game, performance on discontinued devices - that is the original iPad, iPhone 3GS and older, and iPod touch models other than the newest - isn't very good. We are working on fixing this in upcoming releases.
